FAVORITE DUCKTALES COVERS
Blog
One of the funnest (and most gratifying) parts of my career has been experiencing the incredible covers of his "DuckTales Theme Song" on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. Every songwriter loves having a cover of their song done by a talented artist or fan. I feel especially lucky as there are a lot of DuckTales covers out there. Per Vanity Fair, the number is something like 362,000... on YouTube alone. Fans of the song continue to amaze me with their talent. Here are some of my favorites...

This cover by Kings Return went viral on Instagram with over 39,000,000 views in a couple of weeks, which is incredible. It's easy to see why.
These singers are THAT good.
I LOVED IT. A few friends have shared the link with me in the last few days so I wanted to thank them and post it myself.

When DuckTales was rebooted by Disney in 2017, I was very happy to hear my song on the new show. But before the reboot even came out, Disney put a video of the DuckTales reboot cast singing the theme song. It went viral on YouTube with more than 8,100,000 views. I totally get why... it is really fun to watch.
I had the pleasure of meeting a lot of the show's voice actors at Disney's D23 in Anaheim and they were so much fun (no surprise) and genuinely nice people. It was a very memorable day.
The talented voice actors include: Doctor Who's David Tennant as Scrooge McDuck, Community's Danny Pudi, Parks & Recreation's Ben Schwartz and SNL's Bobby Moynihan as the voices of Huey, Dewey and Louie, SNL's Beck Bennett as Launchpad McQuack, The Neighbors Toks Olagundoye as Mrs. Beakley, and The Big Bang Theory's Kate Micucci as Webby Vanderquack. All did an excellent job!
